XZ Termination members
Explosion-proof terminal elements type XZ are used as passive filters, limiters, attenuators, interference suppressors and protective elements in electrical or electronic alternating DC circuits or as FIELDBUS and PROFIBUS termination impedance terminals. They can be used exclusively as Ex components for installation inside Ex, e, Ex, n, or Ex "t" enclosures in explosive atmospheres of flammable gases, vapours and dusts, respectively in methane mines. They are made by embedding the respective components in a polyamide glass fiber reinforced casing.
