XFU Fuses

Explosion-proof fuses type XFU are designed for fusing of electrical or electronic alternating and direct current circuits and devices. They can be used only as Ex component for installation in Ex „e", Ex „n" or Ex „t" protected enclosures in explosive atmospheres of combustible gases, vapours and dust, respectively in methane mines. The actual part consists of a 5x20 mm tube fuse embedded in a polyamide, glass fiber reinforced case. A non-return thermal fuse (TCO) with a Tf = 84°C cut-off temperature is provided in the vicinity of the tube fuse to ensure the T6 temperature class of the fuse (XFU surface temperature does not exceed 84°C). Two screw terminals M4 with brass nickel-plated contact and stainless steel profile are used to connect the wires.
