X40.DA2 Distributor - flameproof enclosure
The product line of explosion-proof distributors is designed as a modular system. The base is made of steel equipment cabinet dimensionally selectable according to the size and number of mounted devices and components.
The explosion-proof distributor X40.DA2 is mechanically fastened to a dimensionally corresponding separately certified junction box (e.g. type X.X., X.SA., X.XS.) Galvanic interconnection of both parts is ensured by certified line bushings.
In flameproof enclosure X40.DA2/d the cable entries are handled either by explosion-proof cable glands that make up the so-called direct entry into the flameproof enclosure, or other certified devices to ensure the integrity of the flameproof enclosure.
The distributors are supplied with internal filling according to the customer's requirement. An empty cabinet can also be supplied, in which case it is necessary to carry out a conformity assessment of the final product.
