Thermostats for hazardous areas (EX)
Ambient sensing thermostat for temperature sensing in the area where it is located. An exceptional feature is a switching capacity of up to 25A, including the possibility of directly connecting the heating cable to the thermostat. It is mainly used for applications such as freezing of piping, tanks, hoppers and other appliances, including the control of space heating.
The GENERI capillary thermostat (X20ST1, X23ST1) is designed for temperature sensing directly on the pipeline or on the surface of the heating cable, in particular for installation in areas with risk of explosion of flammable gases, vapours, dusts and explosives. Thermostat is available in TW version - temperature sensor. An exceptional feature is the possibility of direct connection of the heating cable to the thermostat, where the use of a terminal box is no longer necessary. Variable placement within the GENERI X20 and X23 terminal boxes adds to overall flexibility of use.
The capillary thermostat exTHERM-AT is designed for temperature sensing directly on the pipeline or on the surface of the heating cable, especially for installation in areas with the risk of explosion of flammable gases, vapours, dust and explosives. The thermostats are available in TW variants - temperature sensor, STW - safety temperature sensor and STB - limiter. The latter option is widely used for the control of heating circuits with resistive and minerally insulated cables, where it is used to limit the maximum permissible surface temperatures of the heating cables. For common applications such as process temperature maintenance, we use the TW variant for self-regulating heating cables as well. An exceptional feature is a switching capacity of up to 25A, including the direct connection of the heating cable to the thermostat.
Capillary thermostat Capstat CT-FL is intended for sensing the temperature directly on the pipe or on the surface of the heating cable, in particular for installation in hazardous areas of flammable gases, vapours, dusts and explosives, in combination with higher demands on the mechanical strength. Method of placing the capillary in the ambient environment allows the use of this thermostat as an ambient temperature sensor.
The ZP - Ambient thermostat is used where a high resistance to negative temperatures is required. The advantage of this thermostat is the possibility of connecting the heating cable directly to the thermostat without the need to use an additional terminal box. The mounting holder then replaces both the bracket and the insulation entry kit.
The ZT-C thermostat is used where a high resistance to negative temperatures is required. The advantage of this thermostat is the possibility of connecting the heating cable directly to the thermostat without the need to use an additional terminal box. The mounting holder then replaces both the bracket and the insulation entry kit.
TAE.. is an explosion proof thermostat which is designed as a two-state controller and coupled with the electric heater may regulate the pre-set temperature in the box.
Digital temperature controller type TC ATEX D ... is designed to control the internal temperature of the electrically heated protective enclosures and houses for control valves, measuring equipment, etc. in potentially explosive environments.
IRM2Ex / 400 is a mechanical bimetallic thermostat. With its compact design and high switching capacity it is suitable for freeze protection applications. The thermostat is located in the cable gland M20x1.5 and can be mounted in a terminal box.
