Multibox

MULTIBOX protection boxes have a versatile and proven system of protection, which was designed for use in a wide range of applications. These boxes are delivered in many dimensions and assemblies.

Hot-pressed glass fiber-reinforced polyester (GRP).
Two-part construction: instrumentation can be mounted in both parts, vertical or horizontal box orientation is possible .
Saving storage space thanks to storage supports at the corners.

The boxes are fire-proof with self-extinguishing properties.

Anti-static design is also possible, to avoid the creation of electrostatic charges in potentially explosive atmospheres (Ex) according to DIN EN IEC 60079-0 .

Accessories

All necessary mounting accessories: mounting rails, 2" pipe stand, etc. see the relevant catalogue sheets - 19" frame, fixed or swivel.
Heating: Ex., electric, steam or hot water.

The assembly process

Insert the components (designed for the double-sided housing installation and for the installation of the internal accessories) into the hexagonal recesses in the housing designated instrumentation mounting, which are the same in male (TE) or female (TU) parts.
These mounting components provide an internal male extension (M10) for mounting rails or mounting plates etc. and an external female thread (M10) for box mounting.
If length the M10 extension is insufficient, turn the component – to provide inner female thread - and fasten the mounting component with M10 screw. The remaining protrusions can be closed using the supplied plastic plugs. 

SE Design: Side mounted hinges are supplied separately, so the door can be opened to the left or right, up or down as circumstances require. Lid propstay for up and down opening can be supplied. (see descriptions on the description page of particular types)
