They serve for distribution and protection in AC and DC networks with the possibility of signalling of operating states, measurement of electrical quantities, regulation, switching and control of auxiliary and power circuits. The box can be fitted with standard industrial devices.

Primarily designed for installation in underground mines with methane occurrence and heavy conditions with an explosion risk of combustible gas, vapour, dust, and explosives. The cabinet may be fitted with conventional equipment in industrial design.
