Electronic switches – range GES
The electronic range switches GES10 are designed for DIN rail applications in control systems functioning as thermostats or other two-state regulators. Their output signal (switched on or off) is dependent on the instantaneous value of the measured value and the comparator value set on the switch. In this sense, when switching to the set value, the galvanically isolated relay contacts are switched. The main components of the switch are an electronic comparator with adjustable element, a hysteresis regulating module and an output relay with switching contacts for 250 VAC and load current of 8 A. The switches are equipped with a heating-cooling mode switch enabling a change of the output contacts characteristics, which predisposes them to control the refrigeration aggregates and ventilation, as well as two-stage regulation of heating systems. In terms of supply voltage, the switches are manufactured in versions for 230 V / 50 Hz, for 24 V / 50 Hz or 24 V DC.

These thermostats have the character of permanently connected devices and therefore the operator must ensure that a switch or circuit breaker is marked as a device disconnector in their immediate vicinity. This must be easily reachable by the operator.
Installation and commissioning
Installation, start-up or commissioning may only be carried out by a person qualified in accordance with local laws.
The switch is mounted using the TS35 DIN rail holder. Connect the input signal to terminals 3 and 2 or 1 and the supply voltage to L, N terminals(or + and - for 24 V DC). The output signal of the control relay is wired to A, B, C terminals. It is recommended to use supply cables with a cross section from 0.35 to 2.5 mm2.
Dimensions and accessories
Contact relays are displayed it theirs stand-by position corresponding with supply voltage disconnection.
Mode „Heating”: - JUMPER in O position - if the measured value is lower than desired value, the contacts A, C are closed.
Mode „Cooling”: - JUMPER in CH position - if the measured value is higher than the desired value, the contacts A, C are closed.
