Capillary thermostat JUMO - exTHERM-AT

The capillary thermostat exTHERM-AT is designed for temperature sensing directly on the pipeline or on the surface of the heating cable, especially for installation in areas with the risk of explosion of flammable gases, vapours, dust and explosives.
The thermostats are available in TW variants - temperature sensor, STW - safety temperature sensor and STB - limiter. The latter option is widely used for the control of heating circuits with resistance and mineral insulated cables, where they are used for gradation of the maximum permissible surface temperatures of the heating cables. For common applications such as maintaining the process temperature, we use the TW variant for self-regulating heating cables. An exceptional feature is a switching capacity of up to 25A, including the direct connection of the heating cable to the thermostat.
