Capillary thermostat heatTHERM-AT
High flexibility of use and advanced connection technology are essential features of these thermostats.
The thermostat enclosure is suitable for all types of installation, such as wall, thermowell and as a pipe fitting. It is universally deployable and reduces the number of variants so that it no longer needed to distinguish between different types of installation.
In these worlds first "Push-in®" built-in thermostats, the lead wires are simply plugged into the terminal block! The tool for crimping the cable lugs onto the conductors is not necessary in this case and the wiring is already ensured. This significantly reduces the cost and time of installation.
Push-in® connection technology enables direct load switching of up to 16A at 230V AC. Installation costs can be reduced even further.
This series is supplied as a temperature controller (TR), temperature monitor (TW), safety temperature monitor (STW) and safety temperature limiter (STB) in single or double sensor version.
The product is approved according to the high standards DIN EN 14 597, PED and UL / CSA.
Switching function:
Temperature controller TR and temperature monitor TW
If the respective temperature exceeds the set limit value on the temperature sensor, the jumper switch is activated and the circuit is opened or closed. When the temperature drops with respect to the set temperature (under the switching differential), the jump switch is reset to its initial state.
STW safety temperature monitor
If the corresponding temperature exceeds the set limit on the temperature sensor, the jumper switch is activated and the current circuit is opened or closed. When the temperature drops in relation to the set temperature (below the switching differential of approx. 10K), the jump switch is again put into its initial state.
When the measuring system is destroyed, i.e. when the expansion liquid escapes, the membrane pressure drops and the current circuit opens permanently. Unblocking is in this case no longer possible.
When the sensor is cooled to less than about -20 ° C, the circuit breaks off and automatically switches on when the temperature rises.
Safety temperature limiter STB
If the respective temperature exceeds the set limit value on the temperature sensor, the jumper switch is activated and the current circuit is opened or close respectively and the jump switch is mechanically blocked.
After dropping below 10K than the limit value, the jump switch can be manually unlocked. When the measuring system is destroyed, i.e. when the expansion liquid escapes, the pressure in the membrane decreases and the current circuit opens permanently. Unblocking is in this case no longer possible.
When the sensor is cooled to less than about -20 ° C, the circuit breaks off and automatically switches on when the temperature rises.
